Formed in 1995, 911 is an English pop band that defined the early 2000s music scene. Since their debut single, Night to Remember, in 1996, they have built an international fanbase, particularly in South East Asia, where they topped the charts twice. With their signature dance-pop sound and decades of experience, 911 guarantees a dynamic and unforgettable live performance. The band's journey began when dancers Jimmy Constable and Simon Dawbarn met through a mutual friend in the 1990s. Bonding over their shared love of performing, they worked together on The Hit Man and Her and were inspired by fellow performer Jason Orange, who went on to join Take That. Determined to make their mark, Jimmy and Simon founded 911 in 1995. Initially turned down by manager Steve Gilmour, their growing fanbase soon proved their potential, leading to the addition of Lee Brennan, completing the iconic trio. Signing with Ginga Records, 911 released Night to Remember, reaching No. 38 on the UK Singles Chart. Their success continued with Love Sensation, featured in the 1997 film Casper: A Spirited Beginning and a win on GMTV's Search for the Next Big Thing. With each release, they climbed higher in the charts, achieving nine consecutive UK Top 10 hits and selling out a 35-theatre tour. Over the years, 911 has reunited multiple times, each comeback met with enthusiasm. They’ve embarked on sold-out UK arena tours, starred in a documentary and released new music. In 2013, they announced their album Illuminate (The Hits and More) on This Morning, declaring, "bring it on!". Their 2019 reunion proved their lasting appeal, as tickets for their South East Asia tour sold out within hours. With a career spanning decades and a loyal global following, 911 continues to bring energy, nostalgia, and hit after hit.
