Are all hotels accessible?

Warner Hotels is happy to provide advice to guests with special needs who wish to take breaks at our hotels. We don’t want to disappoint, so please call us on 0330 100 9774* to let us know of:

  • any special mobility or dietary requirements;
  • a need to store medication, e.g. insulin; and/or
  •  whether anyone in your party needs to be accompanied by a Registered Assistance Dog.

We’ll tell you everything you need to know about the suitability of our facilities and will try to make reasonable adaptations. If someone in your group has special medical needs, please get medical advice before booking. Find out more on accessibility >

We do advise making bookings over the phone with one of our advisers on 0330 100 9774 so they can answer any questions you may have and make a note for any guidance regarding the following:

  • Ability to walk but cannot negotiate stairs
  • Full wheelchair access and size of wheelchair
  • Details of any storage requirements for equipment or medication
  • Dietary requirements (see Dining FAQs for more information)
  • Mobility requirements (this is only a request and if you do have any mobility requirements, please book through the call centre)
  • Assistance dogs
Do you have accessible seating?

We welcome guests who have trouble walking (either due to injury, physical disability or medical condition) who wish to bring their mobility scooter or wheelchair to use during their stay. Please speak to a member of the team in the restaurants and show venues and they’ll locate a suitable space for you. All our venues remain accessible.

To make a request on your booking such as room location, table location etc. please speak with our friendly Customer Care team on 0330 100 3354.

Can I bring my wheelchair/mobility scooter?

We welcome guests who have trouble walking (either due to injury, physical disability or medical condition) who wish to bring their mobility scooter or wheelchair to use during their stay. In the case of powered vehicles, only class 2 mobility scooters and class 2 powered wheelchairs are permitted inside our hotel and around our hotel grounds. Class 2 powered vehicles have a maximum speed of 4mph/6kph (pavement speed) and are no more than 1,000mm in length and 600mm in width, with a turning circle of 1,200mm.

Where available, we recommend that you book a ground floor room, and for manual wheelchair users where the chair is wider than 700mm, we recommend you book a wheelchair accessible room. Some of our hotels may have features which can further restrict certain types of mobility scooters and wheelchairs, which you should check via our website or with our Contact Centre prior to booking your break.

If your mobility scooter or powered wheelchair is a class 3 or unclassified vehicle, which means it can operate at a speed higher than 4mph/6kph, is larger than the class 2 dimensions provided above, and/or where driving licence requirements may apply to its use, it will not be permitted inside our hotel and on our hotel grounds. You are responsible for organising hire of the appropriate equipment to either bring with you during your stay or collect on your arrival at the hotel.

For more information about use of wheelchairs and mobility scooters at our Hotels, please refer to section 15 of our terms and conditions.
